The Alamogordo Tigers lost its first in district game 18 to 10 against Organ Mountain at Organ Mountain.
The game began with Organ Mountains Romeo Jones making a 27 yard touchdown run. Organ Mountain led Alamogordo 6-0 with 2:58 to go in the first quarter. The quarter ended with no scoring by the Tigers.
Alamogordo's Aidan Vazquez made a 26 yard field goal scoring but Organ Mountain continuing to lead Alamogordo 6-3 with 9:58 to go in the second quarter. Organ Mountain then sacked for safety and Organ Mountain led Alamogordo 8 to 3 wirh 4:28 to go in the second quarter.
Organ Mountain's Riley Test ran a 25 yard touchdown run with Organ Mountain then leafinf Alamogordo 15 to 3 with 2:53 to go in the second. Then Jullian Mata of Organ Mountan then completed a 30 yard field goal with Organ Mountain leading Alamogordo 18 to 3 at halftime.
Both teams held the line in the 3rd quarter with no scoring. Going into the 4th quarter Alamogordo's Nate Best completed a 9 yard touchdown pass to Josiah Quinlan and Vazquez XP was good bringing the score up to Organ Mountain leading Alamogordo 18-10 with 16 seconds to go 4th. The clock ran out and Organ Mountain defeated Alamogordo 18-10. The Tigers drop to a record of 1 and 4, 0 and 1 in district. The varsity Tigers will host Hobbs next Friday at Tiger Stadium.
