In Girls Basketball action Lordsburg defeated Mescalero Apache 64 to 46. K-Rae Chino led the Lady Chiefs with 20 points, Bridgette Blake had 12, Skyla Enjady with 6 and Railey Blake had 5. The Lady Chiefs record now stands at 11 and 9 and 0 and 2 in district. Tbey next host Mesilla Valley Christian on Tuesday.
Girls Basketball - Las Cruces defeated Alamogordo 57 to 27. Teeya Gordon led the Lady Tigers with 20 points. The Lady Tigers record falls to 3 and 17, and 0 and 4 in the district. The Lady Tigers next play at Gadsden on Monday.
Girls Basketball - Tularosa defeated Socorro 56 to 42. Cevaeh Hernandez led the Lady Cats with 17 points, Kiah Zysk had 11 and Veronica Blazer had 8. The Lady Cats record has increased to 7 and 13. They next play at Dexter on Tuesday.
In boys basketball action Cloudcroft defeated Lordsburg 66 to 47. The Bears record increases wins to 9 and 11 losses with a 1 and 1 in district. They next play at Capitan on Tuesday.
Boys Basketball - Tularosa defeat3d Cobre 62 to 57. Jacoby Apachito led the Wildcats with 15 points, Estevan Barraza had 11, Fabian Pacheco with 9 and Zaine Hodges with 8. The Wildcats gained in the win column to 15 and 5 and next host Dexter on Tuesday.
Boys Basketball - Lordsburg defeated Mescalero Apache 81-58. The Chiefs drop their record to 4 and 15, and 1 and 1 in the district. They next host Mesilla Valley Christian on Tuesday.
