Regional Basketball Results…
Girls Basketball -Mescalero Apache defeated Dexter 53-18. Kaylionna Rocha led the Chiefs with 11 points, Skyla Enjady had 10, Laurdis Sundayman and Molly Pena each with 6. The Lady Chiefs improved their record to 3 and 0 and are undefeated, they next host Mescalero Apache Tournament starting December 14th.
Girls Basketball -Mesilla Valley Christian defeated Cloudcroft 40-10. The Lady Bears drop their record to 2 and 3 and they next host the Mountain Top Tournament starting December 14th.
Girls Basketball -Estancia defeated Tularosa 29-20 at the Santa Rosa Lady Lion Classic. The Lady Cats are 1-1 and play Cottonwood Classical or Tucumcari at 2 PM on Friday.
Girls Basketball - Alamogordo defeated Goddard 62 to 32 at the Artesia City of Champions Classic. Abby Vazquez led the Lady Tigers with 20 points, Teeya Gordon had 11, Elizabeth Needham with 10 and Madison Ruiz had 8. The Lady Tigers improve their record to 2 wins and 1 loss and play El Paso Riverside Friday.
Girls Basketball -Tularosa defeated Ruidoso 53-37. Ryan Chavez led the Lady Cats with 21 points and 6 rebounds, Maycee Griffin had 13 points and 4 steals and Danae Evans with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
Girls Basketball Cloudcroft defeated Carrizozo 39-25. Kylie Adams led the Lady Bears with 19 points and Nova Rollerson had 7.
Boys Basketball Results:
Boys Basketball - Tularosa defeated Zuni 66-39 at the Rehoboth Tournament. Dillon Salazar and Fabian Pacheco each with 13 points to lead the Wildcats, Jalen Randall had 8 and Adrius Guilez with 7.The Wildcats improve their record to 2 to 0 and will play Tohatchi at 6 PM on Friday.
Boys Basketball - Alamogordo defeatedLos Lunas 45-42 at the Artesia City of Champions Classic. Jason Warren led the Tigers with 17 points, Damiran Smith had 10 and Elijah Montoya with 8. Alamogordo improved their record to an undefeated 4 and 0 and will play Rio Rancho on Friday.
Boys Basketball Mescalero Apache defeated Elida 50-46 at Mesilla Valley Christian Tournament. Davin Davis led the Chiefs with 12 points, Thomas Douglass, Landyn Hiles and Darius Wheeler each had 8 points.
The Chiefs improve to 3 to 0 and next play Mesillia Valley Christian on Friday.
Boys Basketball -Cloudcroft defeats Carrizozo 63-40. Dominic Ciulla led the Bears with 19 points and 12 rebounds, Tyson Thompkins had 18 points and 5 steals and Hoyt Condito with 14 points.
The Bears improve to 2-2, next host the Mountain Top Tournament on December 14th.
