Alamogordo High School Tigers Win First District Game

Hear the Roar, Congratulations Alamogordo High School wins its first in district game and defeated Carlsbad 32 to 27. The Tigers improved their record to 4 wins and 2 losses. The Tigers are 1 and 0 in district play. The Tigers will host Las Cruces on October 6th, that’s next Friday! Come on out for free and support the Tigers.

The Tigers had a great defensive games from Devante Bosserman, Issac Lara, Noel Garza, Efrain Hernandez and more, Aidan Vazquez 2-3 XP, 28 punt average.

Alamogordo and Carlsbad tied 7-7, 10:13 at the 2nd Quarter. Elijah Montoya 6 yd TD pass to Andrew Tellez (XP blocked). Alamogordo led Carlsbad 13 to 7, with 8:14 to go in the second quarter. Kason Perez 2 yard Touch Down run a 2 point run good. Carlsbad led Alamogordo 15 to 13 with 3:18 to go in the second quarter. Carlsbad led Alamogordo 15 to 13 at halftime.

Going into the 2nd Quarter Anthony Audette 54 yd TD run (2 pt try no good)

Alamogordo led Carlsbad 19 to 15 with 10:55 to go in the 3rd Quarter. Carlsbad 60 yard fumble return TD (XP blocked)
Carlsbad led Alamogordo 21 to 19 with 3:44 to go 3rd Quarter.

In Boys Soccer Organ Mountain defeated Alamogordo 5 to 0. The Tigers dropped their record to 1-10, 0-2 in district. They next host Portales on Saturday at 11:30 AM.

Girls Soccer Organ Mountain defeated Alamogordo 8 to 2. Sierra Symons and Kay Beach score for the Lady Tigers, Beach also with an assist. The Lady Tigers drop to 7 and 5. They are 0 and 2 in district and next host Mayfield on Tuesday at 6 PM.

Regional Volleyball Action Hot Springs defeated Tularosa in straight sets. The Lady Cats drop to 6 wins and 4 losses and next host Ruidoso on Tuesday.

Earlier in the week Volleyball Loving defeated Mescalero Apache in straight sets.
The Lady Chiefs dropped to 2 and 8. They next play at Capitan Tournament on Friday & Saturday.

Volleyball Tularosa defeated Silver in straight sets (25-23, 25-19, 25-22).
The Lady Cats improve to 6-3, next play at Hot Springs.
