Get ready to show your Tiger Pride as Alamogordo High School gears up for an exciting week of Homecoming activities from August 28th to September 2nd.
The entire community, including alumni, families, businesses, organizations, and supporters, are invited to come together and celebrate Alamogordo Public School students while enjoying a series of fun events.
The week kicked off on Monday, August 28th at Tiger Stadium with an electrifying Power Puff game where the Seniors defeated the Juniors 22-14.
Don’t miss the lively Powder Fluff game on Wednesday, August 30th at the Tiger Pit, there will be no shortage of high-energy entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Thursday, August 31st marks the evening of the Bonfire at Alamogordo High School near 1st Street at 7:30 pm. A tradition that ignites the spirit of unity and camaraderie, the Bonfire is an event that encapsulates the vibrant spirit of the community.
The pinnacle of the week arrives on Friday, September 1st as Alamogordo Tiger Football takes on Gadsden in the Homecoming football game at Tiger Stadium, with kick-off at 7 pm.
Before the game, the annual Homecoming parade will dazzle the streets, starting at 3 pm from AHS on Cuba Ave and proceeding down 10th St. to New York Ave.
Let's line the streets! With this year's theme, "Diamonds are Forever," participants are encouraged to adorn themselves, floats, and vehicles in the diamond theme or black and gold, reflecting their Tiger Pride.

Alumni are especially encouraged to participate in the festivities, showing their unwavering support for their alma mater, the APS students, and our incredible Alamogordo community.
Join the Return of the Roar and make your presence felt. (www.returnoftheroar.com) Special recognition will be given to Alumni classes present at the stadium that evening.
Stop by the special alumni canopy to pick up your alumni cheer paddle sign, look for the banners in the stands for your graduation decade, and root for our Tigers with old friends.
The week culminates with the Homecoming dance on Saturday, September 2nd in the AHS Commons from 8 pm to 11 pm. Tickets are available at AHS for students for the evening of celebration and memories.
The Alamogordo High School Homecoming week is more than just a series of events it's an opportunity for the community to unite, support our students, and showcase the enduring Tiger Pride that has defined us for years.
