Alamogordo High Tiger Tennis Senior Day

Senior Day for Alamogordo Tiger Tennis was celebrated as they hosted Las Cruces.

Seniors Lily Burling, Brayden Money, Macy Cooler, Michael Overstreet, Malea Westover, Tyden Spencer and Maddie Glass were recognized.

In Tennis the Alamogordo Boys won 9 to 0 and the Girls won 8 to 1 vs. Las Cruces.
Both teams finish regular season on Saturday at Gadsden.

Boys Singles - Brayden Money, Michael Overstreet, Jaxon Spencer, Tyden Spencer, Reese Gentry and Tristen Montoya win in straight sets.

Boys Doubles - Gentry/Money, Montoya/T. Spencer win in straight sets, Overstreet/J. Spencer win in 3 sets

Girls Singles - Malea Westover, Lily Burling, Eva Westover, Maddie Glass and Evony Lopez win in straight sets

Girls Doubles - Malea & Eva Westover, Lopez/Glass, Burling/Talee Westover win in straight sets

In other area sports the Mescalero Apache Boys Golf team finished 4th at Monday's Leroy Gooch Invitational at the Links and were 9th at Tuesday's Alien 8 Invitational at the NMMI Golf Course.

Chiefs next at Spring Classic in Roswell on Thursday.

Baseball

Tularosa swept Lordsburg, winning 12-0 in Game 1 and 16-6 in Game 2. The Wildcats improved their record to 12-7, 6-0 in district and they next play at Mescalero Apache on Saturday.

Softball

Tularosa defeated Capitan 3 to 0. The Lady Cats improve their record to 11 and 7, 4 to 0 in district. They next play at Mescalero Apache on Thursday for a doubleheader.
