HB 100 - This bill would impose a 14-day waiting period to purchase a gun. After filling out form, 4473, one would have to wait two weeks to take the gun home.

HB 101 - This bill would make it a felony to possess or purchase a semiautomatic rifle, a magazine that holds more than 9 rounds, or a firearm with a fixed magazine that holds more than 9 rounds.

This bill will create criminal liability for a gun owner if a minor wrongfully accesses their firearm and injures someone. Would require New Mexicans to lock up their firearms in “a gun safe" at all times.
