Bonnie Jean Jones of Timberon New Mexico entered eternal rest in her home on February 6th, 2026 after a long battle with emphysema, parkinson's disease, osteoporosis, and lung cancer. Bonnie was born on October 19th ,1962 in Riverside, California to Marie Ann Jones (Schott) and Donald Eugene Jones. She was Married on April 30th 1982 in Springfield Missouri and had 4 children. She worked many jobs she loved including working for the nursing home and for Daylight Doughnuts.
Bonnie had a heart full of love and many things she enjoyed. She loved spending time with all her kids and grandkids. She loved watching shows with them and playing board games with them. She was a huge Wrestling and Wheel of Fortune fan. She loved nature and traveling with her kids. She rescued many animals over the years and loved all animals and wildlife. She loved to feed her deer and birds. She could grow anything, anywhere, and had the most beautiful Zinnias and Marigolds. Bonnie was well known and loved in her online community. She worked very hard on and was proud of the online pages she administered. She loved all types of music but was most fond of Rock and Roll. Her favorite song was "No More Tears" by Ozzy Ozbourne. Bonnie's day was never complete without a bottle of Dr. Pepper and a Reese's. She loved to do puzzles, to read, play Scrabble, and do her crosswords. She was very proud of being an ordained minister through the Universal Church of Life.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Donald - her sisters, Donna and Carol Joan - her brother, Larry and her granddaughter, Zoe. She is survived by her sister, Sharla - her brother, Bob - by many cousins including Cindy Schott - many nieces and nephews including her niece, Barbara Taylor- her 4 children, Christy, Daniel, Matthew and Amanda, and 10 grandchildren, Rose, Solomon, Violet, Nomolos, Magnolia, Dahlia, Ruby, Jackson, Madeline and Natalie.
Bonnie helped everyone she could and left an impression of light everywhere she went. She was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bonnie at a later date.
