The numbers are looking good for the committee to recall Couy Griffin. Griffin is playing a waiting game to see how the signature tally falls out.  We asked for his statement in response to the recall issued statement. Both follow…

We asked Mr. Griffin for a statement of how he felt the recall effort was going and his response was…

“Such a low signature count after such a great effort by the recall committee is only evidence that Otero County is still conservative. The People of this County don’t agree with the heavy hand of our state government nor the arrogance of the most radical Socialist Governor our state has ever seen in Michelle Grisham. We still want the individual choice to wear a mask, get the vaccine, and open our businesses at our own discretion.

God will always be my shield and my strength and He will move on the hearts of those that serve Him to show truth and fight back slander. I’m looking forward to finishing out my term and continuing the fight against an oppressive and over reaching state government.
Thank you Otero County!!!”
