Alamogordo, NM – March 18, 2026 – Otero Arts is turning April into a month-long celebration of young creativity with its 4th Annual Student Art Exhibition at the Otero Artspace in Alamogordo. Following strong community turnout in previous years, organizers have split this year’s show into two separate exhibitions to better showcase student work and introduce a new element — artwork from New Mexico State University (NMSU) students.

The gallery will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout April, giving families, friends, and the public more opportunities to visit.

“Otero Arts is proud to continue its tradition of featuring and encouraging the artwork of students from kindergarten to 12th grade,” organizers said. “This year we are especially excited to include NMSU student work and extend gallery hours so even more people can come out and support these talented young artists.”
The Otero Artspace is located at 1118 Indiana Avenue and 12th Street in Alamogordo. The exhibition is supported by New Mexico Arts, the Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
