Despite strong individual performances from several Alamogordo wrestlers, including pins and technical falls, the Knights capitalized on multiple forfeits and key wins to secure the team victory. The match featured intense action across boys’ and girls’ divisions, with both sides showcasing talent in New Mexico high school wrestling.
Boys’ Results Highlights:
• 106 lbs: Terrence Armijo (Alamogordo) pinned Nathan Jackson (Organ Mountain) in just 27 seconds — a quick and dominant start for the Tigers.
• 113 lbs: Paul Sanchez (Organ Mountain) earned a 6-2 decision over Fynn Krafka (Alamogordo).
• 120 lbs: AJ Benitez (Alamogordo) dominated with a technical fall over Manuel Baeza (Organ Mountain), 18-0 in 4:32.
• 138 lbs: Jose Ortega (Organ Mountain) pinned Damien Montoya (Alamogordo).

Additional exhibition matches saw Organ Mountain’s Alizah Saiz pin Ava Armijo (Alamogordo) in 2:50, and Mia Maes (Organ Mountain) pin Alianna Rigales (Alamogordo) in 1:07.
