The Battle of the Food Trucks – Round 4 was full of culinary delights at the Washington Park in Alamogordo on October 11, 2025, with over 31 food trucks, pop-up vendors, live music, and a full day of community celebration. Hosted by Trisha Roberts Insurance Agency, the event has grown into one of Otero County’s most anticipated annual gatherings, showcasing culinary creativity and local pride.

A panel of judges and public votes crowned standout trucks across multiple categories:

• Best BBQ: Triple Nickel
• Best Beverage Truck: Sugar Bears
• Best Local Food Truck: Lolita’s
• Best Dessert: Tony’s
• Best New Food Truck: Fatwood Pie
• Best Overall Food: Lolita’
People’s Choice Awards

The event featured: A kids fun activities, craft vendors, and local brewery 575 plus Tularosa Vineyards. A live DJ and performances to keep energy high Free admission and family-friendly activities from 12 PM to 6 PM including lots of dancing and smiles.
The event emphasized a mission to uplift local businesses and foster community connection. “It’s more than food—it’s about flavor, fun, and family." It now serves as a regional showcase for Southern New Mexico’s mobile culinary scene and a platform for emerging food entrepreneurs.
