Alamogordo Area Volleyball Update

Here is  rundown on the most recent high school volleyball rankings and results...

Division 5A: Las Cruces (5-0-0) holds the top spot, followed by La Cueva (5-1-0), and Hobbs (0-6-0).

Division 3A: : Ruidoso (2-3-0) is ranked #1, with Cuba (3-3-0) at #2, and Jal (2-3-0) at #3.

Silver defeated Alamogordo in straight sets (25-17, 25-13, 25–13). TheLady Tigers drop their record to 1-2 andnext play at Sweet 16 Tournament in Las Cruces on Friday and Saturday.

Tularosa defeated Socorro in straight sets (25-10, 25-14, 25-11). ThLady Cats improve their performance to 3-1 and will play at Mescalero Apache on Monday.

Cloudcroft tied 1-1 at the Hatch Valley Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Bears are now with a record of 2-2 and next host Mountain Top Tournament September 12th and 13th.
