"A nationwide coalition of pro-democracy organizations such as Indivisible, 50501, and No Kings have organized a nationwide, No Kings Day of Defiance on Flag Day, June 14, 2025. These organizations are committed to speaking out against the actions of the current administration which are corrupt, authoritarian and contrary to Constitutional law," according to event organizers.
Local activists, those folks you’ve seen rallying at the corner of White Sands Blvd. and Tenth Street for the last few months, will be out on that day, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. They ask that you join them in honoring Flag Day and American democracy. Group organizers say they have signs enough for anyone who will join them. Please wear sunscreen and bring enough water for yourself. Local organizers emphasize their commitment to non-violent action and expect all participants to avoid and de-escalate any confrontation.
The June 14th event is being staged both locally and nationwide as a result of Flag Day being used by Donald Trump who wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday.
A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else from the people in a constitutional democracy. America was once considered the beacon of hope, the light on the hill and the woulds most important democracy. We the people must take of back from the brink with people power per organizers across the nation.
No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.
We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
