Alamogordo Volleyball rallies past Chaparral; Cloudcroft sweeps Tularosa

Alamogordo fell 27-25 in a tight first set before taking control of the match. The Lady Tigers edged Chaparral 25-23 in the second set to even the match, then pulled away with wins of 25-18 and 25-14.

The victory improves Alamogordo to 4-7 on the season. The Lady Tigers return home Thursday to host Ruidoso.

In Cloudcroft's win, the Lady Bears needed extra points to take a close first set 26-24 over the Lady Cats. Cloudcroft followed with a 25-21 second set and closed out the sweep with a 25-12 win in the third.

Cloudcroft improves to 6-4 and will next travel to Hot Springs on Oct. 6.

Tularosa drops to 3-7. The Lady Cats go on the road Thursday to face Quemado.
