It's almost May and that means summer is around the corner and graduation day is almost upon us. Here is a breakdown of the dates and times of our areas High School Graduation ceremonies...

Alamogordo High School

When: 7 p.m. on Friday, May 24

Where: Alamogordo High School Tiger Stadium at 103 Cuba Avenue, Alamogordo

Tularosa High School

When: 7 p.m. on Friday, May 24

Where: Tularosa High School Bob Cerny Football Field at 1305 8th Street, Tularosa

Cloudcroft High School

When: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 18

Where: Cloudcroft High School football field at 10 Swallow Place, Cloudcroft

Mescalero Apache High School

When: 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16

Where: Mescalero Apache High School at 260 White Mountain Drive, Mescalero

New Mexico State University-Alamogordo

When: 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10

Where: Tays Center at 5001 Scenic Drive, Alamogordo, NM

Capitan High School

When: 7 p.m. on Monday, May 20

Where: Capitan High School Football Field at 519 Smokey Bear Blvd., Capitan

Parking and seating for the Capitan High School graduation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Carrizozo High School

When: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 18

Where: At the Carrizozo High School gymnasium located at 800 D Avenue Carrizozo

Corona High School

When: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 18

Where: Corona High School at 531 Franklin Street, Corona

Hondo Valley High School

When: 6 p.m. on May 24

Where: Hondo High School Gymnasium at 111 Don Pablo Lane, Hondo

Ruidoso High School

When: 4 p.m. on May 19

Where: Ruidoso High School at 125 Warrior Drive, Ruidoso

Eastern New Mexico University-Ruidoso

When: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 16

Where: Inn of the Mountain Gods at 287 Carrizo Canyon Road, Mescalero

For Graduating high school seniors in the Las Cruces Public Schools all 2024 graduation ceremonies for the six high schools will be held indoors at the New Mexico State University Pan American Center.

The times and dates for the ceremonies can be found below.

Guests should be aware that NMSU has a clear bag policy when entering its venues.

  • 6 p.m. - Las Cruces High School

  • 9 a.m. - Mayfield High School
  • 6 p.m. - Centennial High School


For Graduating University Students in Las Cruces the ceremonies will be...

  • May 9, 2024: Doña Ana Community College commencement at 7 PM at the Pan American Center
  • May 10, 2024: New Mexico State University graduate commencement ceremony at 6 PM for doctoral, specialists in education, and master candidates

     

  • May 11, 2024: New Mexico State University undergraduate commencement ceremony
