Alamogordo High School Lady Tigers Softball Team Won the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho

The Alamogordo High School Lady Tigers defeated Cibola 8 to 0 to win the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho.

Sydney Lessentine was named Tournament MVP, Amani Cosom, Meyli Herrera, Hailey Evans and Khloe Lunar were each named to All-Tournament Team.

The Lady Tigers record moved to 9 wins and 2 losses. The Tiger Girls  next host Centennial on Tuesday.

Prior to this win Alamogordo Girls defeated Gallup 6-1 at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho.

Friday Alamogordo defeated Miyamura 21-2 at the Kristin Griego Tournsment in Rio Rancho.

Softball -  Tularosa defeated Robertson 6 to 5 in 8 innings at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho. The Lady Cats improve their record to 4-2 and next play at Cobre on Thursday (doubleheader).

Prior to that win Tularosa defeated Valencia 15-5 at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho. 

In early tournament play, Volcano Vista defeats Tularosa 15-2 at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho. 

Friday Carlsbad defeated Tularosa 6-4 at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho.
