The Alamogordo Tigers named Tres Hinson of Tiger Wrestling - 1/19/24 - The Tiger Athlete of the Week is sponsored by The Winners' Circle and named at 101.9 FM 1230 Am 

Boys Basketball - Clovis defeated the Alamogordo Tiger Boys  57 to 55. The Tigers were ahead 41 to 28 at the half Marcus Bryant Jr. led the Tigers with 15 points, Tre Sanders had 11 and Kai Bickham had 9.  The Tigers drop to 10 and 6. They begin district play on Tuesday at Centennial.

Boys Basketball - Fort Sumner/House defeated Tularosa 55 to 54 at the Mighty Lion Classic in Santa Rosa. The Wildcats drop to 12 and 2, will play Rehoboth Christian or Santa Rosa at 5 PM on Saturday

Boys Basketball - Tularosa defeatex Mora 50-43 at the Santa Rosa Mighty Lion Classic.  Estevan Barraza led the Wildcats with 10 points, Seth Kazhe and Jalen Randall each had 9.

Boys Basketball -  Ruidoso defeatEx Mescalero Apache 68-43. The Chiefs drop to 6-10, next play at Mesilla Valley Christian on Saturday.

Girls Basketball - FINAL - Alamogordo defeated Ruidoso 62-33 earlier in the week.
Congrats to Abby Vazquez, reaching 1,000 career points!  Vazquez led the Lady Tigers with 20 points, Teeya Gordon had 19 and Elizabeth Needham with 11. 

Girls Basketball - Tularosa defeats Santa Rosa 65-27. Danae Evans and Aaralyn Stephens each had 10 points to lead the Lady Cats, Emma Ostic had 9 and Sheyenne Casares had 8.  Lady Cats improve to 6-6, next host Hagerman on Thursday.

Girls Basketball - Ruidoso defeatex Mescalero Apache 47-46. Paisley Pike led the Lady Chiefs with 14 points, Kaylionna Rocha had 9, Arliyana Chee and Jade Artiaga each had 6 points.  The Lady Chiefs drop to 7-7, next play at Mesilla Valley Christian on Saturday.

Girls Basketball - Tularosa defeated Hagerman 69-25.  Stephens led the Lady Cats with 14 points, Nevaeh Apachito had 13, Danae Evans had 9 and Maycee Griffin with 8. The Lady Cats improve to 7-6. 

Girls Basketball - Tularosa defeated Eunice 62-18.  Nevaeh Apachito led the Lady Cats with 11 points, Aaralyn Stephens and Maycee Griffin each had 10 and Alysia Shuman had 8. The Lady Cats improve to 8-6, next host Loving on Thursday.
