Alamogordo Regional Sports Update Basketball and Wrestling

Alamogordo regional sports updates begins with Boys Basketball Los Lunas defeated Alamogordo Tiger Boys 47 to 36 in a game that was postponed. Bynum led the Tigers with 10 points, Jason Warren had 8, Damiran Smith and Isiah Richards each with 6. The Alamogordo Tiger Boys drop their record to 10 and 4. They next play at Eastwood on Friday.

Boys Basketball - Mesilla Valley Christian defeated Cloudcroft 53 to 38 at the Lordsburg Tournament. Hoyt Condito led the Bears with 23 points. the Bears drop to 3 and 6 and play Friday & Saturday at Lordsburg Tournament.

Boys Basketball - Hagerman defeated Mescalero Apache 72-40. The Chiefs drop to 6-9, next play at Mesilla Valley Christian on January 20th.

Boys Basketball - Dora defeated Cloudcroft 42-33. Hoyt Condito led the Bears with 11 points, Jacob Dodson had 7 and Tyson Thompkins with 6. The Bears drop to 3-5, next play at Lordsburg Tournament.

Boys Basketball - Tularosa defeated Hot Springs 67-57. Dillon Salazar led the Wildcats with 29 points, Jacoby Apachito had 18 and Fabian Pacheco with 11.
The Wildcats improve to 9-1 and next host Ruidoso on Thursday.

Girls Basketball - Alamogordo defeated Tularosa 46-35. Abby Vazquez led the Lady Tigers with 14 points, Elizabeth Needham had 12 and Jillian Sanchez with 8.

Maycee Griffin led the Lady Cats with 17 points and Aaralyn Stephens had 9. The Lady Tigers improve to 8-6, next host Portales on Friday. The Lady Cats now 4-6, play at Hot Springs.

Girls Basketball - Alamogordo defeatex Santa Teresa 59-11. Abby Vazquez led the Lady Tigers with 17 points, Elizabeth Needham had 16, Teeya Gordon had 12 and Madi Flores with 8.

Girls Basketball - Dora defeated Cloudcroft 60-26. Kylie Adams, Marissa Romero and Ellie Beug each had 5 point.

Wrestling - Alamogordo defeated Gadsden 42-36, Las Cruces defeated Alamogordo 72-6 at Tuesday’s Tri in Alamogordo.

The Tigers next compete at Sierra Blanca Invitational in Ruidoso on Saturday.
