Boys Basketball- FINAL - Alamogordo defeats Del Valle 60-55 in 3rd Place Game at Franklin Holiday Tournament. Damiran Smith was named to the all-tournament team and led the Alamogordo High Tigers with 17 points. Jason Warren had 12, Tre Sanders with 8 and Deonta Bynum had 7. The Tigers Boys improve their record to 9-2 and play at El Paso Chapin on Tuesday..
Boys Basketball - Earlier in the tournament Americas defeated Alamogordo 48-31 at the El Paso Franklin Holiday Tournament. Kai Bickham and Damiran Smith each had 9 points to lead the Tigers, Deonta Bynum had 6.
Boys Basketball - Also Alamogordo defeated Coronado 45-39 at the Franklin Holiday Tournament. Damiran Smith led the Tigers with 13 points, Tre Sanders and Kai Bickham each had 9.
Boys Basketball - Mescalero Apache defeats East Mountain 50-29 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational in Albuquerque. Darius Wheeler led the Chiefs with 11 points, Davin Davis had 9 and Angelo Rocha with 6. The Chiefs improved their record to 5-6.

Girls Basketball - Mescalero Apache defeats To’Hajiilee 42-38 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational in Albuquerque. Rocha led the Lady Chiefs with 12 points, Laurdis Sundayman had 9 and Skyla Enjady with 8. The Lady Chiefs improved to 5-4.
Girls Basketball - Lovington defeated Alamogordo 56-24.Elizabeth Needham led the Lady Tigers with 13 points.
The Lady Tigers dropped to 5-6.
