Women's March - The Alliance Defending Freedom—the same Christian fundamentalist group behind the Mifepristone challenge—filed another anti-abortion lawsuit in Trump-appointed Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s court. They’ve used this playbook before: file in front of a judge who is a right-wing plant, get a favorable ruling, and send it up to the corrupt 5th Circuit. From there, it heads straight to the Supreme Court.

This fight will continue into the next presidential administration. We need a strong advocate in the White House who will defend our freedom to control our own bodies.On November 2nd, thousands of feminists across the nation will mobilize to get out the vote and rally for our freedoms. 

While many women are going to Washington D.C. where the main protest will be held, lots of voters are unable to make that trip. Locally, Otero County has scheduled a peaceful demonstration for the Nov. 2 date here at White Sands and 10th St. from 10-12.
