Alamogordo High School is excited to kick off another amazing school year, and we want to invite teams, clubs, booster clubs, community groups, organizations, and businesses to participate in the annual AHS Homecoming Parade.
Join and show your Tiger Pride as we bring back Tiger spirit with the Return of the Roar!
The parade will begin at 5:30 pm sharp on Thursday, September, 12th, 2024. The parade lineup will begin at 2:30 pm behind Alamogordo High School.
Please enter from Tiger Drive or the 5th Street entrance and look for the AFJROTC Cadets. They will give you your entry number and directions on where to park.
The parade will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
Please decorate your parade entry to match this year's theme "Summertime Soriee" or show your Tiger Pride and decorate in black and gold.
Please note, if your entry is out of sequence for the parade, your parade entry will not be judged.

If submitting an entry that includes animals you MUST provide a clean-up crew IMMEDIATELY behind the animals.
If riding ATVs or 4 Wheelers all drivers and riders must wear a helmet, be properly licensed, and wear appropriate safety gear per NM state law.
Motorcycle or any vehicle burnout is not allowed.Candy may be handed out along the route but should not be thrown from the floats/vehicles for safety.
The parade will exit south onto New York Ave. and return to the High School via 9th Street.Deadline for entries is Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

There’s a thing called reactive abuse. It can be used to bring frivolous, costly lawsuits (aka lawfare). Please educate yourself so you do not fall for harassment baiting. There are some very interesting videos on Youtube about it.
New sidewalks for some neighborhoods. What about the Walker area that is also in her district. Seeing is believing, Walker area has always been ignored.
Have you ever messaged her about it, or are you just complaining to complain? Her actions speak louder than all the other commissioners combined.
She championed and approved $12 million dollars worth of Water system upgrades for walker road and yet you choose to ignore that. It is in the design phase with contract bidding to be announed in early 2026 with work to begin in later spring. That is the largest capital investment in Walker Road in over 50 years.
Did anyone see what Senator Charles Grassley is saying about AI yesterday. What does that have to do with this? It might explain why legal systems in many cities are such a mess.
But also: Why is no one talking about the DISMAL low income housing in Alamogordo, and the need to investigate what is going on in those places, and the lack of housing for homeless???????????

I somehow got logged out without doing so since last time I was here. I wanted to view the Flickinger meeting on Facebook but cannot because my account was taken down. I do not attend these public events because of all the attempts to mess with my life already.
