Date: Saturday, March 2, 2024 Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm Location: Hike will begin and end at the New York Side Street (behind the 900 Block of New York Ave.) Join With Many hands for a forging hike and cooking demo. Hike and gather local edible wild plants. We will meet at the New York Ave. side street garden, hike to the Maryland Ave. garden location and back, observing and learning about edible wild plants. Upon returning to the New York Ave. location our hike guide John, will showcase a short cooking demo on how to prepare the forage plants. Then join Alamogordo Mainstreet for a community planting day to replant the Alleyway planters Learn direct seeding & transplanting techniques as we replant the New York Side Street Garden.
