May 11th, at 1 pm Roadrunner Emporium introduces its New York Avenue District Art and Murals Walk. Join Chris Edwards as he explores with participants the artwork and artistic elements to 928 New York Avenue, and then takes participants through the back allies to see the murals being created within the District, after viewing the murals of the 800 and 900 block of New York Avenue, the tour will walk through Founders Square to discuss the artists and the murals on display, then onward to discuss public art at the Courthouse and the County Commission Building, then New York Art and Music Studio at 1120 New York Avenue and the walking concludes at Otero Arts at 1118 Indiana for their monthly exhibition, then back to Roadrunner Emporium.
