Thank You Alamogordo for Our Continued Growth

Thank you Southern New Mexico for the support and the continued growth!

This week was a milestone since we created the 2nd Life Media entity and began publishing Alamogordo Town News in 2022. In just over 2 years we have now published over 2000 articles of newsworthy content. Our readership continues to grow by leaps and bounds this week passing 15,102 daily followers and subscribers to our daily news letters. For a town with a population of 31,000 per the 2020 census that is quite an accomplishment. Thank you!

We continue to struggle with typos and grammatical errors due to the limited staffing and large amount of content generated. For that we apologize and yet you continue to support us. Thank you. There are times we feel the need to push the story out quickly to keep the public updated and the result is at times challenging. We appreciate your patience with typos.

Our recent coverage of the STEM School controversies and series demanding transparency garnered much attention with appreciation by some and very personal attacks by certain perceived "pillars of the community.

Those personal attacks to include significant time defaming our coverage at a public hearing only enhanced signups to our newsletter.

With 1550 new signups the last 30 days we appreciate the efforts of Alamogordo's "pillars of the community" in attempting to discredit our news coverage, as it has only increased our visibility. Thank you!

Our high school sports coverage is ever more popular, and our coverage of other critical local issues such as the tragic shooting death of Elijah Hadley and the efforts of the family to seek justice are important to our community. Coverage was underserved until we pushed it then other media outlets followed our lead and dug deeper for answers. Public opinion matters!

Thank you for our newer contributors of recent that have published some engaging commentary from LULAC Council 8105 leaders to every day citizens and an award winning guest journalist. We appreciate your work and efforts to inspire people to think, research and engage in our communities of Southern New Mexico.

Our partnership with streaming KALHRadio.org and the interviews by Anthony Lucero for AlamogordoTownNews.org streaming and hosted on YouTube further expand our reach beyond our newsletter subscribers. Our inspirational moments with Pastor JL Walker are very popular with thousands of listeners needing that message of encouragement weekly. For that thank you.

We are committed to the Alamogordo market and will continue to work hard to bring our readers and listeners information that is relevant to our community.
