On January 11th and 12th, CMS FIRST LEGO League teams competed in the virtual Alamogordo Qualifier.
Team awards included:
1st Place Core Values- Penguin Engineers (Julian Barela, Warren Brown, Joshua Hammond, August McCuaig, David Romero, and Austin Stewart)
2nd Place Innovative Project - AIs (Dallin Alliston, Joshua Hallbeck, Nathan Hansen, Dakota Suggs, Tate Westover, and Talee Westover)
2nd Place Robot Games (with a score of 340)- AIs
AIs, Penguin Engineers, and Typhoon Tigers (Matthew Addison, Christopher Candelaria, Julian Favela, Emma Fuller, Byron Johnson, and Fabian Padilla) were invited to the FLL State Championship on February 26th.
Tiger Champions and Desert Pharaohs are 1st and 2nd alternates to State should teams decline.
