Work and efforts to support student growth never ends for those involved in public education within Alamogordo Public Schools. Though graduates of Alamogordo High School have moved onto the next phase of their lives, and school is out summer break that does not mean APS is dormant. Summer workshops, student nutrition programs and summer camps are in full swing.
Summer Camps at APS kicked off yesterday.
Someof the activities our students are participating in include art projects and learning as young pirates. The Pirate Adventure Enrichment Camp is filled with treasure hunts, secret codes, and daring discoveries in Math, ELA, and STEM.
There are other upcoming camps as well. Parents!!! Sign up your student for an unforgettable adventure where art, history, and STEM collide! We still have spots available for the 4y-5th grade Discovery Camp. Young explorers will travel to a new era, from the pyramids of Ancient Egypt to the castles of the Dark Ages, the wild world of the Jurassic, the high-tech future, and the untamed Wild West! It sure will be an adventure your student doesn't want to miss.
