Alamogordo High School Athletics names James Martin of Tiger Powerlifting as the 2/21/25 Tiger Athlete of the Week hosted by 101.9 FM and 1230 AM. Tiger Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. and The Winners' Circle.

Boys Basketball -Tularosa defeated Ruidoso 45-35. Congratulations to the Tularosa Wildcats the new 2025 District 4-3A Regular Season Champions. Zaine Hodges led the Wildcats with 10 points, Estevan Barraza had 9, Joe Chavez and Jacoby Apachito each with 8. The Wildcats end regular season with a record of 20-6 snd 5-1 in district. They will host District 4-3A Tournament championship game next Saturday.
Boys Basketball - Cloudcroft defeated Capitan 72-45. The Bears record is now 12-13 and 4-3 in district. They next play at Mescalero Apache.
Boys Basketball - Alamogordo Boys defeated Gadsden 62-52. Marcus Bryant Jr. led the Tigers 16 points, Jaedyn Hernandez had 11, Julian Favela with 10 and Antwan Herrera Hamilton had 9. The Tigers record improved to 11-15 and 3-7 in district. The Tiger Boys will play at Mayfield on Tuesday in the District 3-5A Tournament.
In Girls Basketball the Alamogordo Tigers defeated Gadsden 38-17. Teeya Gordon led the Lady Tigers with 14 points, Madi Flores had 10 and Julianna Centrella with 8. The Lady Tigers record is now 5-21 and 2-8 in the district. They next play at Organ Mountain on Monday in District 3-5A Tournament
Girls Basketball - Ruidoso defeated Tularosa 36-26. The Lady Cats dropped to 11-15 and 4-2 in district. They next play Ruidoso in a tiebreaker game for district the 4-3A regular season championship. The Game is Monday at 6 PM at Cloudcroft.
Girls Basketball - Mescalero Apache defeated Cloudcroft 45-19. Bridgette Blake led the Lady Chiefs with 10 points, Cielo Herrera, Laurdis Sundayman and K-Rae Chino each had 7. The Lady Chiefs improved their record to 16-10 and 5-3 in district. They will host District 3-2A Tournament Semifinal on Wednesday at 6 PM.
The Lady Bears dropped to 7-19 and 0-8 in district. They will play at Capitan Monday at 6 PM.
