In Boys Basketball action Springer defeated Mescalero Apache 66-58 at the Fort Sumner Shootout. The Chiefs drop to 2-8 and will play Dishchii'bikoh Arizona on Thursday at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational in Albuquerque.
Boys Basketball -Fort Sumner/House defeatsed Mescalero Apache 70-32 at the Fort Sumner Shootout. Landyn Hiles led the Chiefs with 9 points, Payton Estrada had 7, Avin Yellowcloud and Anthony Yuzos each with 5.
Girls Basketball - Cloudcroft defeated Mountainair 49-27 at the Capitan Tournament. The Lady Bears improve to 5-7 and they next play at Carrizozo on January 6th.
Girls Basketball - Mescalero Apache defeats Dora 52-38 at the Fort Sumner Shootout.
Laurdis Sundayman led the Lady Chiefs with 19 points, Jade Artiaga and Cielo Herrera each had 7. The Lady Chiefs improved their performance to 8-2 and next play Dexter on Thursday at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational in Albuquerque.
Girls Basketball -Jemez Valley defeates Tularosa 37-27 at the Texico Tournament.
Emma Ostic led the Lady Cats with 11 points and Kadence Kowatch had 5. The Lady Cats drop to 2-7 and next host West Las Vegas on January 3rd.
Prior in Girls BasketballlNewcomb defeated Tularosa 40-15 at the Texico Tournament.
Finally in Girls Basketball the Alamogordo Lady Tigers defeates Miyamura 54-38 at the Clovis Tournament. Madi Flores and Teeya Gordon each had 21 points to lead the Lady Tigers. The Lady Tigers improves their record to 1-8. The Lady Tigers next play Eldorado on Thursday at the Hobbs Tournament.
