Alamogordo's independent streaming KALHRadio.org comtinues its 20 year tradition of streaming nonstop Christmas music for the 12 Days of Christmas. Station programming director Anthony Lucero says he has "currated the very best in Christmas music that is sure to please and is ideal background music for the business and the home this Christma season."

We kicked off our Christmas celebration festivities by opening the studio grounds of Studio Q at 1209 New York Avenue to a public performance of Sage Gentlewing, New Mexico's songwriter of the Year at the Christmas on MainStreet kickoff to much fanfair. Now we conclude our holiday offering of hope with our version of the 12 Days of Christmas via song."

years ago, i meet a fellow from tularosa who commented that alamogordo might be the only place in the united states where a military base had a liberalizing effect on the community.
