Volleyball State Tournament updates...
No. 10 Cloudcroft defeated No. 7 Tatum in straight sets (25-20, 25-14, 25-21) at the 2A State Tournament. The Lady Bears then advanced to play No. 2 Texico at Rio Rancho High School.
No. 2 Texico defeated No. 10 Cloudcroft in straight sets (25-18, 25-8, 25-16) at the 2A State Tournament. The Lady Bears will play an elimination game vs No. 9 Lordsburg, Friday at 8 AM at Rio Rancho High School.

Out of the large schools high expectations are high for the Las Cruces Bulldawgs to bring home a state trophy to Southern New Mexico. The Bulldawgs (18-0, 5-0 District 3-5A) remain undefeated and are ranked as MaxPreps' No. 2 volleyball team in New Mexico behind only Cleveland, despite having beaten the Storm in four sets earlier this season.
