The Alamogordo Tigers varsity football team played Las Cruces High School. Game highlights included a first touchdown by Las Cruces's Daniel Amaro wirh a 28 yard run. Las Cruces led Alamogordo 7-0.
With 9 seconds to go in the first quarter Gunnar Guardiola of Las Cruces caught a 22 yard touchdown pass. Las Cruces led Alamogordo 14-0 at the close of the first quarter.
The second quarter had Daniel Amaro of Las Cruces make 1 yard touchdown run. Las Cruces then led Alamogordo 21 to 0.

Las Cruces led Alamogordo 52 to 7. Las Cruces scores again during the 4th. Las Cruces defeated Alamogordo 59 to 14. The Tigers drop to 1 to 8, 0-5 in district. They will host Clovis on November 1st.
