VP Candidate JD Vance Proposes Seizing Harvard Endowment Closing Universities

Now in 2024 America JD Vance, Republican candidate for Vice President endorsed the idea and proposed seizing the endowment of Harvard University and the major American universities and closing the major colleges down.

Millions of students around the world come to the United States for a university education because of university system is considered the best and most elite in the world, and yet JD Vance wants to seize the endowments from the best American Universities and shut them down as a part of a purge to restructure America.

During an interview with Breitbart news in June 2021, Vance said he wanted to "destroy the universities," claiming 4 year college degrees make people "deranged" and "worse people.," as reported by Meidas News.

Vance then called for MAGA Republicans to "destroy the universities in this country." Vance claimed universities have "too much money" and "power" and "don't do anything good."

In the Senate, Vance built on his campaign rhetoric to establish himself as a populist foe of elite higher ed. He’s introduced legislation to ratchet up enforcement of federal laws that require disclosure of foreign donations to colleges and universities. He also sponsored a bill that would increase the excise tax on endowments’ net investment income from 1.4 percent to 35 percent for secular non religious private colleges and universities. The tax was necessary, he said, to rein in a university system that “has gone so insane.” Religious based colleges would maintain the lower tax rate under his failed proposal.

He touted communist Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán’s approach to dealing with universities, which he said should be a model for the conservatives in the United States. That approach has involved seizing control of the universities.

He doubled down on his support for Orbán’s methods in a May interview with Face the Nation, arguing that universities are “controlled by left-wing foundations,” not taxpayers.

JD Vance went further to endorse that America needs a dictator and to take the power out of the hands of the people. A VP candidate is endorsing doing away with constitutionally guaranteed norms and seizing private assets and institutions because they are not to his liking.

A generally sympathetic profile by James Pogue quotes Vance longing for the destruction of the republic:

“We are in a late republican period,” Vance said later, evoking the common New Right view of America as Rome awaiting its Caesar. “If we’re going to push back against it, we’re going to have to get pretty wild, and pretty far out there, and go in directions that a lot of conservatives right now are uncomfortable with.”

Vance has no respect for the constitutional checks snd balances of the courts as established as the 3 coequal branches of government. And when the courts stop you said Vance, "stand before the country, and say —” he challenges the entire constitution — “the chief justice has made his ruling. Now let him enforce it.”

Anyone who stands with JD Vance supports a dictatorship and does not stand with the oath thst says he will "stand and protect the constitution of the United States.
