In high school volleyball action at the Eunice Invitational Mesilla Valley Christian placed first defeating second place Tularosa in straight sets (25-12, 25-12, 25-12) to win the tournament. Emma Ostic and Kadence Kowatch named to all-tournament team. The Lady Cats record is now 2 and 1 and will play at Chaparral next Saturday.
Volleyball - Alamogordo defeated Lovington in straight sets (27-25, 25-23, 25-19). The Lady Tigers are 1-0 and next host Artesia on Thursday.
