During the late night hours of March 29th to the early morning hours of March 30th, crews worked on two separate fires: one near 10th street on the Charlie T Memorial relief Route and the second in Oliver Lee State Park.

Crews from Alamogordo City Fire Department, Alamo West Fire Rescue, Boles Acres Fire, Oro Vista Fire And Rescue, Dungan Fire Rescue, Otero County OES, as well as TBRDA were on scene and were able to contain and extinguish the Solar Garden Fire in minimal time with no property loss.

Crews from Alamo West, Boles Acres, Oro Vista, Otero County OES and TBRDA worked with resources from Lincoln Forestry and NM State Forestry personnel. The combined efforts of these departments was successful to containing the Oliver Lee Fire to only 2 acres. Working in rugged Mountionous terrain. No property was damage or threaten.

The hard work and unified command with multiple agencies on both fire grounds was paramount to the successful operations of both of these fires.
