Alamogordo High School sports teams were back in competition this week…

Wrestling - Alamogordo Boys finished 7th and the Girls 8th at Saturday's Sierra Blanca Invite in Ruidoso.

Sonja Davis qualified for state in the 50 Free.

Both team next compete at Albuquerque Academy on Saturday.

In Alamogordo Tiger Basketball Eastwood defeated Alamogordo 47-34. Damiran Smith led the Tigers with 11 points, Kai Bickham had 9 and Jason Warren with 8.
The Tigers drop to 10 and 5, play at Clovis next Friday. The Tigers rank 15th overall in the state and 10th in 5A to date.
