The Alamogordo City Commission begins its new term tonight. The meeting will begin with the swearing in of new commissioners. Then a vote on a new mayor pro temp and seating order.
After that the agenda is detailed in hosting a variety of zoning concerns and addressing dilapidated buildings. The meeting kicks of a new commission with great expectations and a hefty agenda in the new year.
The new commission is being seated in a year of significant uncertainty in politics with a presidential and congressional election looming in November. The divides of nationalism and extremism in national debate may or may not influence local decision making. The public is invited to join the dialogue locally as the commission addresses local spikes in crime, business development, issues around the closing of the Fun Center, zoning rules ordinance changes that need to occur to bring Alamogordo into consistency with Las Cruces and other cities around building standards and more.
The agenda for tonight has 22 items for consideration and can be found at https://alamogordonm.portal.civicclerk.com/event/2873/files/3394

she’s got my vote!
Sunny, with a high of 83 and low of 54 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear in the afternoon and evening,
Evan has excellent policies that actually address our problems in Alamogordo, whereas Burnett doesn't have much to offer beyond pointing out problems and having influential ties.
Great article. You do not even have to name the people, I already know who you are talking about. Keep speaking the truth. Love it.

First my Facebook page got shut down after I got attacked by a hostile group of strangers... First they came for me. Then I offered you a chance to read what was going on with me as a warning, and you didn't want to.
Yep, Cota is not ready for a public office let alone a Mayor.
Any chance Anthony Lucero would interview Ted Morgan?
There’s a thing called reactive abuse. It can be used to bring frivolous, costly lawsuits (aka lawfare). Please educate yourself so you do not fall for harassment baiting. There are some very interesting videos on Youtube about it.
