AlamogordoTownNews.com Tularosa High School Students Excel in Competitions
Way to go to Angel Kowatch-Coney and Savannah Manzanares who represented Tularosa High School at the New Mexico English Expo in Albuquerque last week.
The team took 3rd and 4th in book covers and 4th in descriptive writing among hundreds of New Mexico students.
This was Tularosa's first year to compete in the competition and they did fantastic.
Each student chooses two contests to compete in from the twenty-four contests in writing, skills, speaking, and artistic expression.

Congratulation also to the Tularosa High School Future Farmers of America teams and individuals for their outstanding performance at the Carrizozo CDE competition.
Team Results: 1st Place (Team 1) and 5th Place (Team 2) in Milk Quality, 2nd Place Landscape Design, 3rd Place (Team 1) and 9th place (Team 2) in Food Science, 4th Place in Nursery Landscape, 11th place in Ag Mech, and 12th place in Hort Produce.
