Lorene Merrick, born June 16, 1951, passed away surrounded by the love of those she held dear. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and humor touched countless lives.
Lorene had a special love for her family, her sons, and even their beloved pets, who were always part of her extended circle of care. She often joked that she and her three sisters were like the “Golden Girls,” a bond filled with laughter, loyalty, and lifelong friendship.
Known for her playful spirit, Lorene loved clowning around and bringing smiles to others. Her ability to make people laugh was one of her greatest gifts, and she shared it freely. She also cherished her many friendships, holding each one close to her heart.
A cancer survivor, Lorene showed strength and resilience throughout her life, inspiring those around her with her courage and faith.
Today, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with Jesus and the loved ones who preceded her. Though she will be deeply missed, we celebrate her life and the joy she brought into ours, holding her memory in our hearts always.
