Louis C. Higley left this world peacefully on April 6, 2026 in Alamogordo, New Mexico surrounded by loving family.
Louis was born in Garden City, Michigan on June 7, 1956. After he gradated he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Holloman AFB. His hobby was fixing mowers, weed-eaters and other small engine equipment.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Eva L Maceira. He was a pillar of strength and support for his wife. He had two sons, Adam and Justin whom he loved so much. He also considered to be his own, Eva's kids and granddaughter, Melissa, Duhamel, Destiny, Sofia and Mila. He cherished family gatherings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eva; his children, Adam, Justin, Melissa, Duhamel and granddaughters, Destiny, Sofia and Mila. He is also survived by his mother, Wilma Higley and his sisters, Norma Higley, Linda Westerman and Deanna Higley as well as his niece and nephews, and all his friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service for Louis will be held on May 1st at 1:00 PM Alamogordo Funeral Home located on First Street. All friends and family are invited to his memorial to pay their respects.
Now you rest in peace and are in no more pain, my loving husband. You will always live in my heart and memories as a hard working stubborn and loving husband.
