In Memory of Jeffrey Kim Washington

Jeffrey Kim Washington, 61, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a lifetime resident of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Jeffrey was born on March 10, 1964, to Courtney Washington and Clima Louise Washington (Owens). He dedicated much of his working life as a truck driver. His last employer was Alamo Trucking, where he formed a cherished bond with the Neal brothers and their families.

A lifelong member of Corinth Baptist Church, Jeffrey was known for his love of fellowship, his warm heart, and his infectious smile. He was a devoted Steelers fan and took great joy in spending time with family and friends, who will forever cherish his kindness and generous spirit.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Courtney Washington and Clima Louise Washington (Owens); his brothers, LaVern Washington and Howard Dale Washington; his sister, Lavonia Turner Washington. He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Tyrone Washington, and wife, Meah; his nephews, Zach Washington and wife, Alexis, Courtney Washington, Damon Washington, and SSgt. Ethan Gifford; his niece, Crystal Washington, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched and who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 31, 2026, at 11:00 am at Corinth Baptist Church, 402 4th St., Alamogordo, NM 88310.
