Feeling significant pressure from the public outrage of the school boards decision to open schools this Veterans Day Alamogordo School Superintendent Moore issued a statement explaining the decision and recognizing the error of the decision but that the system must stick with it for this school year due to 10 additional in session days added to the calendar by the state.
The Superintendent outlines options for in home virtual classes and that the regular schedule of a normal school day is in place but only for this year.
