Trinity Turtle Healing Labyrinth Park, located at 7440 US Highway 54 in Alamogordo, is hosting its inaugural “Grand’s Day” celebration this Saturday, August 15th, 2026—a community event designed to bring families together for connection, laughter, and meaningful memories.

The all-day event, presented by CAPPED, Inc., runs from noon through the evening and offers something for visitors of all ages. The centerpiece of the gathering is the Trinity Turtle Labyrinth itself—a unique healing space that invites guests to walk the winding paths of three distinct turtle labyrinths, each offering an opportunity for reflection and meditation.

“We wanted to create a day that honors the therapeutic nature of this space while bringing the community together,” organizers noted on the event flyer.

Activities for Everyone

Beyond the labyrinths, the celebration features a variety of engaging activities:

Whiskey Barrel Frisbee Float — A playful tossing game

Sun Safety Bean Bag Toss — Family-friendly competition with sun protection education

Paint a Segment of the Grand Rock Caterpillar — A collaborative public art project that will create a lasting community masterpiece

Open to All

Food will be provided, with hot dogs, buns, dressings, chips, water, and cookies available during lunch (12–1 PM) and dinner (5–7 PM) service. Best of all, admission is free to everyone.

The park’s tagline says it simply: “Memories that last forever!”
