The City of Alamogordo’s popular summer concert series continues Friday, July 24, with live music by Half N’ Half from 7 to 11 p.m. at Washington Park. Admission is free.

Half N’ Half, a collective of musicians from Las Cruces, Alamogordo, and El Paso, will deliver dynamic entertainment with Southwest flavor. The group mixes covers and originals across a range of genres, styles, and languages.

Event organizers describe the evening as a family-friendly gathering featuring food trucks offering meals, snacks, and treats; craft vendors with one-of-a-kind merchandise; a bounce house for kids; and community resources and organizations sharing local information.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The event is alcohol-free this year—non-alcoholic beverages and refreshments may be brought in, but beer, wine, and liquor are not permitted. Organizers advise staying hydrated in the summer heat.

This is the third of four 4th Friday events scheduled for 2026. The series runs on the fourth Friday of each month from May through August (May 29, June 26, July 24, and August 28). Live bands and performers are subject to change.

Washington Park is located at approximately 1419 E. 1st Street / 100 Washington Avenue in Alamogordo. For vendor registration or questions, contact the City of Alamogordo Special Events office at (575) 439-4159 or specialevents@ci.alamogordo.nm.us. Vendor opportunities remain open through the city’s recreation registration portal.

The free summer series continues to draw families for music, food, and community connection under the desert evening sky.
