Alamogordo, NM — The Alamogordo Police Department responded to a variety of incidents during the week of July 6–12, 2026, resulting in numerous arrests, citations, and ongoing investigations. Charges included serious felonies such as criminal sexual penetration, aggravated battery, stalking, forgery, larceny, DWI, and drug-related offenses, along with several municipal violations.

Key categories of activity included:

• Domestic and Disturbance-Related Incidents: Multiple arrests for aggravated battery on a household member, disorderly conduct, resisting/evading/obstructing officers, breaking and entering, and stalking.

• Warrant Services: Numerous individuals were taken into custody on outstanding municipal, magistrate, and district court warrants for failure to appear, failure to pay, and other violations.

• DWI and Traffic Stops: Several arrests for driving while intoxicated, some involving additional charges.
