The event is headquartered at Dudley Community Center and Park, located at 523 Maryland Avenue, where organizers are offering free shredding services from 10:00 a.m. to noon in addition to the day’s cleanup activities.
Free dumpsters have been placed throughout the city to give residents an easy way to dispose of unwanted items. Drop-off locations include:
• Indian Wells & Scenic
• 2201 Puerto Rico Avenue (Senior Center)
• 817 North Scenic (New Beginnings Church parking lot)
• Panorama Boulevard (next to Fairfield Inn)
• Walker Road (Baseball Park)
• Oregon School, 1500 Oregon Avenue
Beyond the dumpsters, the event also provides yard cleanup assistance for seniors, disabled residents, and military members who may need extra help clearing their properties.
The initiative is being led by Mayor Sharon McDonald, who residents can reach at 575-295-2155 for more information. Vesta Sherrie is also available as a point of contact at 510-410-6487 or via email at vestasherrie@gmail.com.
