The Tularosa Wildcats boys basketball team continued their strong start to the season with a commanding 75–29 victory over Cloudcroft on Tuesday night.
Eluciano Gonzales led the way with 20 points, while Kameron Blazer added 13 and Cameron Holguin chipped in 10. The Wildcats improved to 3–0 and will host McCurdy on Thursday in the Johnny May Classic.
Cloudcroft’s Adlai Gutierrez paced the Bears with 9 points, with Jacob Dodson and Silas Moon each scoring 7. The Bears fell to 1–5 and will look to regroup Thursday when they host Animas in the Mountain Top Tournament.

• Kiah Zysk scored 14 points to lead the Lady Wildcats.

• Maitlyn Barnett led the Lady Bears with 24 points, while Delanie Dallas scored 13 and Tristyn Housler had 9.
Tularosa improved to 4–1 and will host Capitan on Monday.
