Alamogordo High School and Tularosa High Student Successes

The Alamogordo High School STEM teams Huge; ASTRO Vikings and A.S.T.R.O. Scorpions both competed in the Albuquerque FTC Scrimmage and did an excellent job. In the preliminaries, the Vikings finished 5th, while the Scorpions placed 10th and in the 2nd place alliance for the finals. 

In addition to solid performances, the Vikings earned the Motivate Award and the Silly Bo-Billy Award, while the Scorpions were recognized with the Control Award.

Both A.S.T.R.O. teams are heading to the State Championship in Albuquerque on February 7th and 8th. Best of luck to both teams at State.

Tularosa Cheerleading brings home an award at MMSU Spirit Championship.

Congratulations THS freshman Kayleigh Bigas who finished as the first overall female athlete (out of 38 women) in this weekend’s Super 5 Sunday 5k in Las Cruces! She finished the 5k in 21:21 and was 8th overall! We are proud of you Kayleigh!

Congratulations Tularosa High School senior Dakota Heitz. She earned the 2024 Gymkhana Reserve Champion High Point for age group 13-17 for the Las Cruces Horsemans Association.
