The Alamogordo High School STEM teams Huge; ASTRO Vikings and A.S.T.R.O. Scorpions both competed in the Albuquerque FTC Scrimmage and did an excellent job. In the preliminaries, the Vikings finished 5th, while the Scorpions placed 10th and in the 2nd place alliance for the finals.
In addition to solid performances, the Vikings earned the Motivate Award and the Silly Bo-Billy Award, while the Scorpions were recognized with the Control Award.
Both A.S.T.R.O. teams are heading to the State Championship in Albuquerque on February 7th and 8th. Best of luck to both teams at State.
