New Business Our Little Country Store Opens in Alamogordo

Alamogordo's business community and specifically the New York Avenue business district celebrates when new businesses and entrepreneurial spirit emerges and new businesses evolve.

The area around Alamogordo's New York Avenue Block 12 the block that encompasses the shopping center at 2200 White Sands and the 1200 Block of New York Avenue is experiencing a renewal of new business development and older businesses from the block upgrading and renovating. The block is seeing new businesses evolve or transfer in and move into the block, more to come on that in a future story.

Today, we showcase Cindy Nowaczck and the opening of Our Little Country Store at 2200 White Sands Blvd at 12th Street across ftom Wells Fargo.

Many in the community know Cindy Nowaczck as a mother of 3 children passionate passionate about their upbringing, others inow her, for her membership in Alamogordo's 100 Women that Care and as an ally and partner to her husband, Ryan, who facilitates the Honor Flight Welcome Home to Heros celebrations, coordinated by the US Veterans Motorcycle Club Trinity Chapter. And still others know of Cindy, as the entrepreneur that had a very large following from her sales space in the lower level of Roadrunner Emporium at 928 New York Avenue and the Ruidoso Emporium selling primitive and Americana decor and accessories.

Cindy has a passion for home decor and design with a nod to primitive and Americana decor. She has hosted a business specializing Americana design and docor for several decades. Her first venture of having an independent store was in Enterprise Alabama where she operated and garnered a national following especially from military wives from the nearby Air Force Base. As time progressed she had followers from around the country that wanted her specialty signs, tin punched laterns and Americana decor. As a military wife, the family moved often having lived in a variety of locations aroynd the world. Eventually the family settled in Alamogordo and settlement into a beautiful home and stability, Cindy again ventured into her retail passion.

Cindy had her contacts and creative skills honed in and opened booths at a variety of locations in tbe Alamogordo and Ruidoso areas. She was hugely successful at her Roadrunner Emporium location, her following grew and she honed her social media marketing skills to futher grow her "Our Little Country Store" brand. Cindy ships products from her portfolio too purchasers across the nation.

Now, Cindy has taken the next step and modeled after her Enterprise Alabama location as the precedent, she had now opened her location in Alamogordo. Come to the New York Avenue business district but take a turn to Block 12, 12th and New York across the street from Wells Fargo and check out Alamogordo's largest selection of Americana and primitive decor that is reminiscent of days gone by.
