The New Mexico High School Coaches Association began publishing the NMHSCA All-State Soccer teams during the 2019 season.
Athletes are chosen by through a process which includes nominations by head coaches, ranking of nominations through a coach's ballot, and a final selection committee chosen by the NMHSCA Board of Directors.
The NMHSCA publishes NMHSCA All-State teams in volleyball, football, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, and softball.
